God spoke to Chuck through a sermon he was giving to a congregation about "being called," where He showed Chuck that the sermon was intended for him! He has been lead pastor since 2017. He graduated from MVNU awhile ago, and in his spare time he is rebuilding an old Ford truck with his grandson. 

Our newest addition to the Lower Lights staff, Zane graduated in 2024 from MVNU with a degree in Youth and Family Ministry. Zane joined our staff after a visit to our Sunday morning Worship, where God called him to serve here in Franklinton. He is from Maysville, KY, and can say the alphabet backwards! 

Since 2022, Ashley has been on staff as an associate pastor. She graduated from MVNU in the winter of 2021 with a degree in urban ministry. A West Virginia native, Ashley enjoys all things outdoors: hiking, running, and exploring God's creation! 

Shannen has been a part of the Lower Lights community her entire life. In addition to keeping our finances updated, she is the director of Rachel's House and Family Housing for Lower Lights Ministries.

A current student at MVNU online and a mother, Shannen gives everything her all for God's glory.
